The 1970s saw the rise of conceptual art practice which encouraged artists to explore innovative forms and approaches. Guest curator, Ringo Bunoan centers on experimental photography and installation art. Being ephemeral, the latter will be represented by re-creations by the artists themselves or, if not feasible, through archival documentation. The exhibit underscores the importance of oral history and archiving projects in the production of art historical narratives.
